Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

| An ancient Irish law prohibited peasants from owning hunting dogs. The
Wheaten was developed to overcome this restriction. By being like a Terrier, and having
strong hunting instincts, and having a "peasant look", it is now an enjoyable
companion. It has a soft, wavy coat, the colour of ripening wheat. It is 16-20 kgs in
weight and 46-48 cms in height. |
