| The Sheltie with its origin in Great Britain became more popular in Japan.
It looks like a miniature Rough Collie. Infact it is a classic miniature. It was probably
a result of crossing Rough Collies with dogs from the Scottish Shetland Islands. Once used
for herding, it is now a companion dog. It weighs 6-7 kgs and is 35-37 cms tall |
