| Originally a livestock dog, this is now primarily a companion. It learns obedience easily and has been used to retrieve on land and from water. It has also been used for police work in Germany. Its coarse coat is trimmed allowing the chin hair to give a disticnt appearance. They maybe pepper and salt or full black in colour. It weighs 14-15 kgs and is 45-50 cms tall. |
