The 18 to 24 months class male was judged by Mr. Henning Setzer of
Fidelius Kennel. Mr. Setzer chose dogs with evident masculinity and
strong expression. The winner of this class was a Quen Loherweg son,
Tino Godalis. He is a very expressive top size male with very good
character.
I
got the opportunity to spend some with time with Tino in his owners
house, and took some photographs of him. He is an absolute stunner. The
SG2 Sony v. Heinrichplatz, a Dux de Cuatro Flores son is a very
attractive, well pigmented dog. The SG3 was Tyson Kottersbusch, again a
Quen Loherweg son of top size with super masculinity, with excellent
expressions and proportions and handled exceedingly well by Walter
Kotters. This dog is a reminder of the dogs of the golden era like Zamb
and Quando. In this class, the judge liked slightly bigger dogs with
masculinity, strong head and expression and bone strength. Another dog
which impressed me was SG14 Magnun zum Kolbenguss, again a Quen Loherweg
son from a very good producing mother that was handled to glory by a
dear friend Jochen Janz.
The 12 to 18 months class female was judged by Mr. Peter Arth. Some
excellent quality females were present in this class. In the top 20,
many were out of Vegas du haut Mansard. The SG1 Paula v. Gut Lethe is a
super female with super anatomy and attitude. This female should have a
bright future ahead. The SG2, 3, 4, 6, 13 and 14 are also sired by
Vegas.
The 18 to 24 months class female was judged by Mr. Joachim Stiegler. The
SG1 was Ronja v. haus Burrow, an Esko Danischenhof daughter with
excellent front angulation, expression and overline. In this class,
Pakros presented 10 children, Quen Loherweg presented 7 children, Dux de
Cuatro Flores presented 6 children and Zamp Thermodos presented 6
children. In this class, 184 bitches stood for individual assessment out
of which 132 were awarded SG.
