| This is called so because of its dramatic ears which resembles the butterfly's wings.( Papillon means Butterfly in French) It looks dainty because it is small in size and has a fine silky coat. But it is capable of obedience training and fit to work in the fields. It requires daily grooming. It weighs about 4 kgs and is about 20-28 cms tall. |
