| This breed lost its popularity when rat-baiting became unfasionable. That was one job these Terriers were very good at. Though it is short-tempered, it makes a fine lively companion. John Hulme, a breeder from Manchester, is credited with crossing these Terriers with a Whippet to produce a lean agile Terrier. It weighs 5-10 kgs and is about 38-41 cms tall. |
