Griffon Bruxellois

| The Griffon Bruxellois is a good natured, amusing, alert and reliable companion. This breed is a direct descendant of the rat killing, bushy faced, Stable Griffon or Griffon d' Ecurie which was crossed with the English Toy Spaniel. This resulted in a loss of the Terrier instinct to kill Vermin. This breed has a wiry coat and long wiry hair as a fringe around the face. It maybe black/tan, full black. It weighs 2.5-5.5 kgs and is about 18-20 cms tall. |
