Clumber Spaniel

During the French revolution the French Ducde Noailles sent
a number of his dogs to the Duke of New Castle in England for safety. These dogs
were used for beating games towards hunters and it is from the Duke's home in Clumberpark
that its name is derived. Today they are companion dogs living in urban gardens. It weighs
29-36 kgs and is about 48-51 cms tall. |
