Sophistication, Beauty, Grace, Elegance and Dignity
of the Afghan has been developed in the west to make this a very fashionable dog. But in
Afghanistan it is still used to guard sheep and goats and to hunt wolves. A thick long
coat protects it from the cold.Show-dogs must be groomed everyday toavoid matting. This
breed has an independent streak and requires a lot of training. Afghans weigh aroung 25
kgs and
about 65-75 cms tall. |
