The Shiba Inu is a medium sized breed of dog,
native to Japan. It was originally used as a hunting dog, to bring out the
small birds and animals from the bushes. In fact it's name means "brushwood"
dog in Japanese. It is a bold and alert dog. Usually it keeps itself clean.
The only drawback is some dogs tend to produce a unique sound, similar to a
howl. They have a double coat and measure about 40cm in height at the
withers. |
