Blood Hound

| This is an ancient scent tracker bred for centuries
by monks of the St. Hubert Monastery in Belgium. It thrives on the hunt rather on the kill
and excels in tracking. It is used to hunt animals, criminals and even lost children. It
has a sonorous voice. Though it is an affectionate dog it is not very easy to obedience
train. It weighs 36-50 kgs and is about 60-70
cms tall. |
